My Little Pony: Mane Merge was developed at Gameloft Brisbane for Hasbro and Apple Arcade.

As the Senior UX & UI Designer on this project I spent 7 months whiteboxing the gameplay features and flow for this game before branching into a team effort on art polish alongside the talented Thomas O’Dowd and Ellena Linden.

GCAP Talk: Empowering Players with Inclusive and Intuitive UI

A game created for 5+ with a core audience of 5 year old’s and a loyal following of long time My Little Pony adult fans. My Little Pony: Mane Merge contained a core loop of merge and repair with a range of mini-games and collection activities. I delivered the following talk at GCAP discussing the UX challenges we faced with creating an inclusive UI for such a diverse range of ages and players.

In this reel, the UX for the following features was fully handled by myself. The art for the Merge Board, Bracelet Maker and UX Level Up were collaborative efforts with Thomas O’Dowd and Ellena Linden. The rest of the art polish is handled by myself.
